Our Mission & Impact
Our Story
The River Rat Art Project (TRRAP), a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed to support creativity, appreciation, and patronage of visual arts and fine crafts through studio tours, art markets, and educational activities with the goal of promoting and encouraging the work of all Middle and South Georgia artists and artisans. TRRAP also serves as an educational resource to students and educators in underserved areas where art education is not readily available or accessible. We hope you will join us and help support visual arts in Middle & South Georgia. You do not have to be an artist to join.
- Funded scholarships for children to attend summer art camps.
- Showcased aspiring young artists through youth art exhibits.
- Provided free art activities for senior citizens and adults with disabilities.
